GING: GING Is Not Generic

GING aims to be a universal, cross-platform and extendible configuration tool. GING will understand configuration files of several different cross-platform applications and will provide a more user friendly configuration framework.

GING is a universal configuration tool. GING will be a cross-platform extendable configuration tool. GING will have the ability to understand configuration files of several different cross-platform server applications and intends to provide more convenient and productive User Interfaces for easier and hassle-free configuration. GING aims to provide a single point of system configuration for all administrative tasks involving these server applications. GING will be able to extend its functionality to support more uncommon and custom server applications through the use of python enabled plug-in system.
